Question about tax return garnishment and military?

My husband has his military pay offset once a month in the amount of 232.90. I called the Treasury Management Service hotline and it said he has three offsets (the past three months of 232.90) and 1 debt. It also said I have 2 debts (not federal, Military Credit cards). It never mentioned an offset of the tax return. Will I have one?
Also, my refund has already been sent for direct deposit and that amount was still the same amount when I filed two weeks ago.

Reasons for direct refund offsets include back taxes, outstanding child support, student loans unemployment overpayment and state or federal debt. A portion or all of your refund may be withheld to pay these debts and federal and state agencies may cooperate, garnishing both refunds for debts owed to any government entity.

Using military credit cards may or may not be “federal debts” depending on your purchases. Buying from the BX or PX is buying from a federal source, is a federal debt and can be offset…even if you’re buying clothing or diapers. Buying the same items from a civilian store with the same credit card is not a federal debt and cannot be offset.

Hope this helps!
