Need step by step instructions for adding a PC to my home network.
My main PC is configured again to a network (it works). I use a router Linksys wireless. I can configure our old PC in a room and want to add to the network. I can use a Netgear wireless USB adapter for it. It collects the signals. I had the opportunity to choose the correct SSID and WEP key in the code. Now they need to know how to get the old PC line. When I use Linksys (add a computer to the network) software, I want to 1) connect (the son) to load the program PC 2) Use a USB portable storage device, or 3) enter the information manually loading the CD that came with the computer I am trying to add network. I'm new to this subject. No I have all the software that came with the old computer. So I guess I prefer a device notebook or a long cable. What and where do I do now? Thanks! Adding XP in the network.
u dont need all this software … Windows is perfectly able to configure the connection ..
